1. Khelo is a coordination tool, not the organizer
Khelo lists games created by independent users and provides tools to coordinate them. Khelo does not organize, supervise, officiate, or attend games; does not vet, background-check, or certify users, hosts, venues, or equipment; and is not a party to any arrangement between users.
2. Assumption of sporting risk
Sports involve inherent risks — including serious injury. By joining any game discovered through Khelo you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks, confirm you are medically fit to participate, and accept sole responsibility for your safety, equipment, and insurance. Khelo strongly recommends personal accident insurance for regular players. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Khelo disclaims all liability for injury, death, or property loss occurring at or around user-organized games.
3. No warranty on listings, venues, or people
Match details, venue information (including community-submitted venues, map data, prices shown "for information"), skill levels, reputations, and reviews are user-generated or third-party data provided "as is". A host's claim that a ground is booked is that host's representation alone. Reputation and reliability scores are automated summaries of past platform activity — they are not a guarantee of anyone's future conduct, identity, or skill.
4. Payment disclaimer
Khelo processes no payments and holds no funds. All payments for paid matches occur directly between player and host outside the platform. Khelo makes no representation that any payment will be made, verified, or refunded, and is not responsible for payment disputes, fraud between users, or losses arising from direct payments. 5. Service availability
The platform is provided "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or loss-free operation, and features may change, break, or be withdrawn (see Known limitations for an engineering-honest list). Notifications and reminders are best-effort conveniences — do not rely on them for attendance obligations.
6. Third-party services
Maps, place search, SMS delivery, and hosting are provided by third parties whose accuracy and availability we do not control (Third-Party Services Disclosure). External links (e.g. Google Maps directions) leave the platform and are governed by their own terms.
7. No professional advice
Nothing on the platform (including skill levels, training-type matches, or recommendations) constitutes professional coaching, medical, fitness, or legal advice.
8. Limitation
This Disclaimer operates together with the limitation of liability in the Terms & Conditions §13. Nothing in it excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
