Is Khelo free to use?
Yes. Khelo is free to download and use. For paid matches you pay the host directly over UPI — Khelo takes no booking fee and never holds your money. Many games are at free public grounds and cost nothing.
Where can I play with Khelo?
Khelo is focused on Delhi NCR — you’ll find matches and grounds across West Delhi and wider Delhi, plus Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. We’re growing area by area, so games are densest where the community is already active.
How do payments work?
Khelo is not a wallet, gateway or escrow. When a host charges for a game, they publish their own UPI ID and you pay them directly from your UPI app. Khelo only records the coordination status (applied / paid / verified) so both sides stay in sync.
Do I need an account just to look?
No. You can open any shared match link and see the match details, venue, players joined, host and price without signing up. You only create an account when you want to join, pay, or host a game.
Which sports are supported?
Cricket, football, badminton, basketball, tennis, volleyball, table tennis and pickleball — each with proper positions, roles and formations.
How does Khelo keep games safe and fair?
Players build a reliability score from attendance, payment follow-through and post-match reviews. Hosts can verify payments, and anyone can report misconduct; repeat offenders are suspended.
Is my data safe?
Khelo follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We collect the minimum needed to run games, never sell your data, and you can export or delete your account at any time. See the Privacy Policy.
How does Khelo make money?
Right now, it doesn’t — there are no booking fees, no commissions, and no ads, and players will always use Khelo for free. Down the line we may offer optional paid tools for hosts who run lots of games. That’s the whole plan, stated plainly.
